My 6 Steps To Getting Bikini-Ready In A Week

IS3A5301-Edit

Summertime means lots of days in bikinis and swimsuits by the pool or beach. I always try to stay bikini ready all summer, but when going on vacation knowing I will be without my regular fitness rutine and in a bikini all day, it’s time to really get it together. When I want to look my best in a swimsuit I have a few tricks I follow that totally help. These 5 things are what I do a week before a beach vacation to feel and look my best.

  1. NEVER Skip Breakfast. It will only slow your metabolism.

Last summer I was making fresh pressed juice every morning with fruits and vegetables and protein powder. This summer I haven’t really been doing that. Now I drink a healthy drink called Estrogenomics from Poliquin and I ad some L-Glutamine. It is a blend of pea protein concentrate, pea protein isolate, glycine, taurine, rice protein concentrate, and L-glutamine, dried cane syrup, fiber complex, oat fiber, cocoa powder, sunflower oil, bioactive immunoglobulin, plant enzyme and broccoli seed extract, I didn’t even mention all the ingredient’s because I don’t know what half of them do.. haha 😉 But I know it’s good for you – and my body feels good when I drink it. I always ad extra L-glutamine to my shake – you can order it HERE 😉 and HERE – This drink will give you a boost of vital minerals and vitamins you need for an overall good health and strong gut, your immunity will become stronger and you won’t get sick very often. L-glutamine promotes good recovery after a gym session and lots of other stuff.

After my shake I will eat a banan and then go for my fasted cardio rutine, which means my little morning run without a real breakfast.

I will burn pure fat IF I keep my pace at a jogging level, if you start sprinting you will start burning muscles because you didn’t eat a solid breakfast, so I wouldn’t recommend that. After my 20-25 min run it is time for a real breakfast – I eat 3- 4 eggs and cook it in different ways with vegs, rice or what ever I have in my fridge – Before a vacation I will probably skib the rice to become more lean.

3. Don’t eat 3 hours before you go to bed. I always want to eat a snack before bedtime, if I have wild cravings I will eat 1 peace of raw chocolate and drink another breakfast shake. On normal occasions I will usually eat something and not be a fanatic 😀

4. Get those workouts done, visit the gym and workout. Train like it is your last summer on earth. I seriously rip myself apart in the gym – no joke, people will be looking at me like i’m nuts, sweat dripping everywhere, tomato red face, terminator mood and ready to pass out after each set.. Go all GI Jane style, cos I know you want that bikini body! 😉

5. Eat as clean as possible, especially when it comes to snacks. I will swap my beloved crisps for nuts or fruits instead! Super boring yes, but it is only 1 week before your vacca.

6. Kick up your water intake big time and drink lots of green teas. It really is the ekstra step that makes my tummy look flatter.

Detox Juice Hysteria, Here is What I think!

fruit-juice

DONT GO ON THE juice hysteria wave if you want to loose weight!!

Denmark have been going juice crazy in their kitchens, part of the new health wave. You are not trendy if you do not have a juicer, I have one haha ;).. I enjoy one fresh juice in the morning. But if you have to lose weight or just keep your weight it is not the best way to ONLY DRINK FRESH JUICE!. Loosing weight is all about eating less calories than you burn!! So think, what will fill your belly the most some chicken or a juice ?

What will fill you up?

No doubt – you get concentrated health filled with important vitamins and minerals in your fresh juice, that is why I drink one every morning. But if you drink juice all day long you will get a lot of calories in you, but feel like your stomach is empty, why? because all the fibers that fill you stomach up are not in the liquid juice but the firm part of the vegs and fruits and that is the part you throw out in the garbage when you make a juice, so you are basically torturing your stomach!

What will fill you up the most??? in one big glas of juice 400 ml will be approximately 250 calories. What do you think will satisfy your body the most, 400 ml juice or 750 g fruit and vegetables you will chew ?…

Eat your calories if you want to loose weight don’t drink them – you will feel crazy amounts of hunger and you really don’t need to suffer that much to lose weight. People think you need maximum amount of pain to lose weight – you DONT! Actually you don’t need to feel hungry at all, you just need to eat the right things!! lean meat – chicken, turkey, fish and vegetables and a little bit of fruit! very simple – NO DAIRY- NO GLUTEN – NO SUGAR – NO ALCOHOL! Go easy on the salt as well, use other good spices for taste if you really want to be serious with your weight loss CUT THE SALT or use very little. Remember some good fats like olive oil, avocado and coconut oil. Yes you will have cravings, probably be missing your favorite chocolate or candy, but you won’t be starving yourself like the ridiculous juice diets. Your body will chew normal food and therefore you will feel full. 😉

Christmas Is Over

LEGS!! 062

Okay so now that I have Christmas out of the way and I have almost eaten myself to death and I have had a sugar hangover. I am ready to get back into it…

Have you tried a sugar hangover? I always get it, when I have to much sugar the night before, I wake up feeling lasy and I have a headache, I feel like crap. Same situation if you have been drinking.. My body is used to clean eating. Last night I had a lot of dark chocolate, waaay too much of it, I am not feeling super today.. chocolate hangover!!.. NOOO!

I’m ready to get back – to being healthy! I love how I feel when I eat clean, nutritious food. 😉 This Christmas I was good with my workouts actually ;)…

When I have too long time off my workouts I start feeling strange and anxious and I start going even more mental than I already am.. 😀

Who feels the same?

You are a healthy person, but you always get sick!!! find out why here ;)

Hello Boys and Gals,

You get your 8 hours of sleep every night. You drink lots of water and eat healthy – fruits, vegs, fish, lean meats and good fats. You drink moderate alcohol and exercise and you take all your supplements, fish oil, multi vitamin and so on… Why do you get sick all the time?

I have been studying hormones and I find it fascinating!!

Many people have problems with their hormones without knowing about it..

When you get sick all the time it is because you lack Cortisol hormone in your system, maybe you don’t have enough of it.

Cortisol fights all the inflammation in your body, so if you don’t have enough of it, you will get sick all the time, each time you get a small bacteria in your system, your body will not be able to fight it. You need to buy a supplement that will boost your cortisol ;)..

This one will get your cortisol on fire :D…
