The dating game

 

Many of my girlfriends are confused about the dating game; they ask me questions like, ‘How do you show a guy you like him without seeming over the top INTO him? How often should you text him? What should you do if he is slow at replying your texts?’

Actually these questions depend on what you want from the guy, and what kind of guy you want?! If you want to have some ‘fun’ there is no need to overthink things! But if you want something more serious – please read on:

I recommend a REAL MAN who is not afraid of showing you he is INTO you. A confident, strong, preferably very sexy and hot man with high self-esteem, otherwise they can turn out to be jealous and weird!

Anyway, he will show you he is into you, if he senses, he has to put in some work. If you are running after him, chasing him like a little puppy dog, texting him a lot, telling him how you miss him and think about him all the time – all day long! – waiting at your place every night for his reply, call or visit. He doesn’t need to do any work or prove anything to you.

This post deals with the initial phase of dating – that is why this post is called the dating game and not the relationship game, which is a whole other turf. Anyway, if you serve yourself on a silver platter, revealing how much you like him by texting him all the time and being available 24/7 or very often (I am exaggerating, obviously) Why would he bother with impressing you? I wouldn’t if I were a guy. I would think – I have this girl on Lock down – no need for me to do shiiit! She is home thinking about me right now! I will relax and let her come to me. She can cook me a meal or get her ass over to my place in a cab.

On the other hand, if you act busy, hard to get – are into your own social life (could be other boys) and he calls you, you don’t have to pick up every time – maybe you are busy!! When he texts you, you don’t have to answer after 30 seconds,  maybe you are doing something super interesting at that moment and you need to wait a couple of hours who knows!!

Of course you need to show the guy you are interested and spend some time with him and you should be adorable and charming. But make him feel a bit insecure about where you are or what you are doing. He should feel like he should impress you; he knows you like him, but he is not sure how much you like him?! – So he will take you out on the master date and impress you with good food, flowers, pick you up, give you compliments, buy you gifts.. all that stuff, because he wants you to become VERY into him. At the same time your job is to act super charming, sweet, cute, funny, and irresistible!! Look mind-blowingly HOT and smile a lot! I promise you – you will have your guy hooked on YOU very quickly!

If he is a player your little act or game might not work- 😉 the reason is you are too hard work and all he wants is to get laid!! So he might be juggling a few other ladies at the same time and the other women might seem easier two impress than you!  Meaning he can get them to bed asap.. Another reason could be he has a girlfriend or wife somewhere and all he wants is to have “fun” with you and again you might seem like too much work. Anyway, following my little theory will also get you rid of most players or unavailable guys hitting on you. So if you are interested in something serious you won’t mind.
