Lets go a trip down Memory Lane with this sexy couple. What a sad ending…

In 2009, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were married just a few weeks after they first met … indicating a pretty intense connection that hasn’t really been broken despite drugs, distance, and the whispers of other women.

The two met in August 2009 at a party for the former Ron Artest and were immediately inseparable … prompting a quickie marriage just 4 weeks later. Shortly after, Khloe Kardashian became Khloe Kardashian Odom, and the couple tattooed the other’s initials on their hands — LO & KO.

After 2 years of marriage, and a multi-million-dollar house later, Khloe and Lamar launched their first joint product — the “Unbreakable” line … a portent that’d echo again and again over the next 4 years.

The two launched their own show — the short-lived “Khloe & Lamar.”

The couple made several attempts to conceive a child, but in 2013, Khloe admitted that they’d been unsuccessful despite hormone shots.

In 2012, things seemed to start their downward spiral — after the basketball player was traded to the Dallas Mavericks … a place Khloe was rumored to be miserable … “Khloe & Lamar” was put on hiatus. After switching teams more frequently than Khloe changed her hair color, Odom’s inconsistency was said to be trickling down into his personal life … as rumors that he was stepping out on Khloe by 2013 surfaced.

At the end of summer 2013 — just 4 years after embarking on their whirlwind romance — Khloe kicked Lamar out of their shared home, and thus began the real downward spiral.

Despite rumors of reconciliation, a terribly concerning video featuring Lamar “rapping” about cheating on Khloe Kardashian … while he appeared to be heavily under the influence of something … surfaced.

In December of 2013, Khloe filed for divorce.

Lamar’s basketball career began to deteriorate … leaving multiple failed attempts at success with new teams in its wake.

The couple’s divorce was finalized earlier this summer … and almost simultaneously, Khloe gave the following quotes about her relationship with Odom:

“Lamar is genuinely one of the best people I’ve ever met, and everyone says that when they meet him. I think Lamar’s going to always be that person [for me] but that’s what made it so special. Even if I had it for five years or whatever, it was the best ever and I’m grateful I did. Some people don’t get that ever and I had that magic for a long time.” 

She concluded:

“I miss what we had – things we got to do together are just memories. I like looking back and holding on to that stuff,” she said. “I definitely miss it, and there’s times I’ll get so sentimental and so sad, but this had to happen for some reason. I’ll figure it out over time, someone will give me that answer eventually.”

As reported, Lamar Odom is currently listed as “critical condition” after being found at a Las Vegas brothel unconscious. Khloe remains by his side.

So horrifying and sad – I always LOVED Khloe and Lamar, they are so cute together and it was easy to se how much love they have for each other in their reality show Khloe and Lamar, pure Khloe!! What a tough woman!! Respect. I hope Lamar will bounce back and hopefully this will be a wake up call for him, to loose the drugs and change his life around.
